In this publication, we would like to share with you some statistics of the average matchmaking time in Ranked Matches.

At the moment, matchmaking usually takes up to 4 minutes: during this time, 93% of Ranked Matches start. At the same time, 67% of successful launches occur in the first two minutes of the search. Below, you can see a graph of successful launches distribution depending on the time spent searching for a match.

According to the internal stats, almost 40% of match searches are cancelled in the first minute, and the players looking for a battle return to the queue and have to spend more time waiting. We recommend that you do not cancel the search within the first couple of minutes because a match will be found with a high probability. Thus, you and other players will have to wait less.

We plan to continue tweaking matchmaking to make it more accurate and faster. To do this, we will introduce additional tools for collecting diagnostic information.
